What We Do

To provide access to
Jiu-Jitsu
for children and teens
who are targeted
by bullying.

OUR
MISSION

The purpose of the We Stand Foundation is to provide access to Jiu-Jitsu training to children/teens who are victims of bullying (physical, mental, emotional, cyber), abuse, or neglect of any kind. Jiu-Jitsu will provide these children/teens the confidence, knowledge, and know-how to handle these unfortunate, but prevalent circumstances. Jiu-Jitsu will teach these children/teens confidence, respect, and discipline that will ultimately make them more outgoing and confident. Moreover, knowledge of Jiu-Jitsu will reduce their chances of being victims of future bullying. Should a situation turn physical, the child/teen will have the know-how to handle the situation safely through non-violent techniques that employ control and body manipulation. We are confident that the combination of the lessons, morals, and techniques they learn in classes plus the community they will join, will lead these children to become empowered and less likely to be targeted or victimized again.

We will achieve this goal by providing scholarships to these children/teens to attend We Stand Foundation-partnered schools. These will be yearly scholarships paid in full to the schools, and we will provide an entire uniform set (Gi, belt, and rash guard).
